For almost 30 years, John Whitehall has managed, coached and trained high performing sales teams for manufacturers and distributors in the consumer products industry. While at Northeastern Distributing Company, an Anheuser-Busch and Yuengling malt beverage distributor, he served as VP of Sales and Marketing. Under his direction, the company was the winner of several prestigious awards including the Anheuser-Busch Wholesaler of the Year Award. As a Partner and Executive VP of Sales and Marketing at Sunline Coach Company, he grew the company and its reputation for quality until the business was sold in 2006. While he was at Sunline, the company was voted number 1 in quality and customer satisfaction by the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association's annual consumer survey 4 years in a row. 

During his 6 years as National Sales Director at AcuSport Corporation, he became a Sandler client and used the system to on board over 100 sales and support personnel while doubling the sales of the company. In 2016, John left AcuSport and founded Strategic Sales Training Solutions, an authorized Sandler Training center located in southeastern Pennsylvania.

Share one thing you love about your job.
I love when people share their success after having the courage to get out of their comfort zone and succeed. When they decide to break their pattern, and try something new, their results can be game changing.

Share one achievement, personal or work-related.
Easy one…my family. My wife Claudia and I have four children and seven grandkids.

What would you do if you had a million dollars?
I’d work with my children to develop a trust to invest in my grandkid’s education.

Lesson from parent (mom or dad) that you live by to this day.
Mom laid down the rules, Dad taught me to always do my best and have fun. Believe me I was a handful growing up. I gave them plenty of “parenting opportunities”. There were too many good lessons to count.

What would be your last meal?
Pizza from Bay Village in Beach Haven NJ. Leave it to a Jersey Shore walk up stand to make the perfect thin and crisp, New York style pizza.

What is the current background on your smartphone or computer desktop?
It’s a picture I took of my favorite beach at the Jersey Shore before Super Storm Sandy and before the beach replenishment after the storm. It reminds me of the way it was when I was growing up.

What is your favorite quote?
